Paul Pope (PhD) is a research scientist and lecturer in Psychology at the University of Birmingham. During his spare time, he goes out to explore the beauty in the most ordinary. From abandoned places, people going about their daily lives, and the beauty in the most unexpected things.

20 years of experience, numerous awards and features in top publications, I capture beauty in the most ordinary.

Paul has been a 35mm film photographer since the age of 12 and continues to use this analogue medium (with a range of vintage cameras) for its aesthetic appeal.

The many photos that are available to view on this website represent a body of work that spans thirty years.
